As I have described and claimed in other previous releases (respectively here and here ), 2010 and early 2011 were characterized by a disproportionate proliferation network, of sites, blogs, forums, and account themed oriental rug. Now open up a blog, a YouTube channel, a Facebook page or Twitter account, it's easy for anyone, but what is much more difficult to succeed in fill these pages, sites or accounts of original content and quality. It is not enough to wait a moment no longer write anything, that everything is already almost over, so that we could mention the Shakespearean "much ado about nothing." Now that did the donkey braying, braying that I have to say they were really making too much noise, so as to endanger people in the network instead had something very serious to say .... here is that the conditions to talk about the carpet on the internet as "cultural objects, artistic, historical, anthropological" before "merchant" may be back in favor. It is in fact even for this, that in the light of recent comments on my recent press'm considering whether to reopen the database Infotappeti to the public and users, in a form quite different and very much in line with the priorities of a purely scientific and cultural debate of the carpet. But the question I ask myself and I put to former members of Infotappeti is: could this recovery operation, to be greeted with interest and participation? A poll within this post and the top-right of this blog post was to give way to who was part of that exclusive community to again express his freedom of thought on the matter. This project is called "The Academy of the carpet" and provides for the reopening - once cleared of all spam and discussions obsolete - only the old sections devoted exclusively to a discussion of historical, scientific, cultural and anthropological matter.
